SEO: Loading Time of Web Pages – Info Graphic
December 19, 2012 § Leave a comment
This info graphic provides information about interactions between the loading time of a webpage and its ranking effect on Google.
Quick Sprout gives some indication of the effect of the loading time of pages on a site’s ranking in Google search results.
I want to ask readers: did you actually checked (and measured) correlation clearly between “loading time of web pages of a site” and “higher ranking in SERP Google”? Because if the response time is obviously crucial to the user is there really a test of relevance for the search engine? Personally I have never seen a site improve its loading time and get back better “rankings.” Similarly, a site that has temporary concerns at this level (response time degradation due for example to a server problem) has never seen – at least on the sites – its rankings themselves degraded. Dear readers, do you have specific examples (and measured / measurable) that could invalidate this experience? Thank you!
